Following defeat in the recent UK referendum on the 'alternative vote' system the Lib Dems, who championed the lost cause that was 'AV' are now looking for an alternative to the alternative vote.

It was a tense atmosphere through out the corridors of power. The coalition government were under pressure again and they still hadn’t really recovered from the debacle over tuition fees.
