It had to happen sometime didn't it? Reality TV in Brazil has broken new ground by screening a rape live on television.
Sex, controversy and 'gritty depictions of real life' are what reality television is all about, so I suppose you could say that Big Brother, one of it's early pioneers has also taken the genre to its pinnacle, its climax as it were, with this show.
