Where Does The Name Come From?
The word 'satire' comes from Greek mythology and the 'satyrs', who were drunken, playfull and mischievious creatures. Baby satyrs are seen in various forms of classical art and were generally depicted in paintings as naked, drunken, dancing children. Because this book is composed of short stories we thought 'baby' satyrs were an nice image to use to describe the content of the book and allude to the origins of satire itself at the same time.
