When an Aliigator crept out of a Louisiana swamp to snack on some meat which had been left on the shore he wasn't expecting the shore line to be defended. From where she sat, the black creature was a dot on her vision, a minute speck of dark scuffling across the light. Curiosity filled her senses, and she did not let her eyes lose track of the eight limbed creature as she made her way towards where it was continuing its journey into the illumination of the light. Immediately, through pale amber eyes, her minds dice had already began to roll.

Downing Street’s new rat-catcher, a four year-old tabby called Larry, is steadfastly refusing to release his grip on Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.
The cat has been trained to attack any rat he sets his eyes on, and as such has spent the morning jumping at the Liberal Democrat leader despite efforts to prevent him from doing so.
