Blackberry Maker RIM (Research In Motion) To Lay off 11% of Workforce
RIM CEO, Jim Balsillie delivered the somber news during a short conference on Monday.
“Unfortunately, due to the slow economy, lack of funding, and our apparent belief that technology from 1999 will regain popularity, we must experience a workforce reduction.”

The new Microsfot Kinect system for the Xbox 360 has been accused of racism because its face recognition software can't recognize black people too good. Apparently they all look the same to it. On a related note, I think my notebook as taken a distinct dislike to me recently. Maybe it is racist too, against white people. It's definitely got some kind of an attitude problem anyway...
